ABOUT
I learned to row as an adult. My dad, a life-long rower himself, encouraged me to try a “Learn to Row” outdoor program right here in St. Charles, on our beautiful Fox River. It was the summer of 2014, and right away I new that rowing would be an activity that I would pursue for the rest of my life. I’ve been rowing recreationally, competitively and passionately ever since.
In the fall, our program moved indoors so that we could continue our training on rowing machines (“ergs”). After only a few months of indoor training, I was hooked on indoor rowing for good! No other machine, gym or fitness class I had ever taken had been so transformative in my attitude toward fitness. I looked forward to practice, was motivated to get to work and was amazed at how good I started to feel. I never felt stiff, sluggish or sore after working out; in fact I began to feel more and more energy each day. Before I realized it, indoor rowing had become a regular part of my lifestyle.
I am passionate about helping others improve their lives through indoor rowing. I recently completed my US Rowing Level I, and Concept2 Indoor Rowing Certifications. Through personal coaching, clinics and classes, it is my hope that I can bring a meaningful fitness experience to anyone pursuing indoor rowing as a part of their lifestyle too!
